Kahela is an incoming undergraduate student currently working toward acceptance to the Computer Science Program. Before enrolling at Portland State, they received their Associate’s Degree in Website Development & Design at Portland Community College, where they first became passionate about web usability and accessible design. While at Portland State, they hope to concentrate on researching new ways to improve usability and access to digital spaces. In their spare time, they enjoy building theatrical sets for non-profit theater productions, reading too many books, and building portfolio websites for friends and family.
